How to view Selling Venue specific statistics?

  • ChannelMAX allows you to reprice multiple Selling Venues i.e, Amazon locales such as Amazon US/CA/UK/DE/FR/IT/ES/JP, rakuten.com(buy.com), Ebay US, Play.com, Sears etc.. Hence to view the information present in CMAX inventory SellingVenue - wise , we have designed 'Site - Stat' tab which would display Selling Venue specific information.
  • In ChannelMAX, you may have the same SKUs assigned to multiple Selling Venues and repricer would consider the repricing rules, Min/Max values in common from the 'Default' Selling Venue or from the site specific information configured.
  • For example, you may be having 500 SKUs in ChannelMAX inventory which are assigned to Amazon UK and Amazon US Selling Venues. Out of these 500 SKUs, some may be missing with Retail/Max or Cost/Min values for Amazon US or for Amazon UK.
  • Another set of SKUs may be missing with ASIN in one of the Selling Venues authenticated .. In this kind of scenarios how to find what inventory are assigned with appropriate Min/Max values or ASINs or repricing models is a question that arise.
You would find answer for all these doubts in 'Site-Stat' tab. Below is how to view the statistics associated with a specific Selling Venue.

Purchase Price in ChannelMAX 'Inventory'

You may store your actual item (SKU) purchase price (or the procurement price from vendor) in ChannelMAX. This value is not used for any calculation while repricing or managing inventory. However for orders downloaded, at the time of order download, the corresponding purchase price is recorded into the the sale transaction along with shipping, commission and listing fee (if any), these information could be then used while calculating net profit on the sale. The currency of the purchase would be recorded in the currency of your default Amazon locale in ChannelMAX. For Amazon US, it would be stored in dollars, and so on.

You may update 'Purchase Price' directly on the 'Details' tab of the SKU as shown in the below screenshot or you may upload 'PurchasePrice' via Unified --> File Uploader.

How to download inactive SKUs from ChannelMAX inventory

Lot if times, as a seller you may want us provide you the report of the SKUs which are not active in your Amazon Seller Central but present in your ChannelMAX inventory . This report would help you to decide the items that need to be restocked or the ones which need to be discontinued from selling in the coming days. You may have this report in hand by following the steps as outlined in this link

How to download Deadbeat inventory?

The SKU whose floor (+shipping in selling venue, such as Amazon) is more than 5% higher than BuyBox total, ChannelMAX terms those SKUs as 'Deadbeat' SKUs. With floor 5% higher than BuyBox, it will be nearly impossible to obtain BuyBox as it may be outside BuyBox rotation percent, if no BuyBox, then the possibility of getting sale is very less. This will cause the SKU to sit in your inventory and your invested money will be stuck, hence the term deadbeat. There is two ways to have the SKU out of deadbeat status, first one is very rare, i.e. if the prices in Amazon go up. The second way to adjust your 'Cost/Min' aka floor to be competitive again. Please understand that adjustment to Cost/Min lower would impact your profitability.

Below is how to download 'Deadbeat' inventory.
Open Google Chrome
Login to unified.channelmax.net
Click on "Inventory"
1. Click on brown color horizontal bar
2. Click on the count below "Deadbeat"
3. Refresh by clicking on green color 'Go'
4. Click on 'Download Inventory' tab
5. Choose button " Download for current filter"
6. Create Download file
7. Download file
PS: This would provide your inventory in text format. You may right click on this text file and choose "Save as.." to store this file in your computer. Then, right click on the saved text file and open with excel spreadsheet.

Shot at BuyBox

The SKU whose floor (+shipping in selling venue, such as Amazon) is within 5% of BuyBox total, meaning currently you don't hold BuyBox, but you are within BuyBox rotation. Generally, you don't need to act on these SKUs, but should keep a close eye as with time, these SKUs may slip into 'Deadbeat' category. You may click on 'Rotate' column to view the SKUs eligible for buybox rotation. Please refer this image..

Bundled SKUs in ChannelMAX Inventory

You may Click here to read more about how bundled SKUs work in ChannelMAX "Unified --> Inventory" screen.

How to setup MasterSKU to manage Inventory

You may read to know in detail about how to set up MasterSKUs in ChannelMAX "Unified --> Inventory".

Repricing SKUs with variations in Amazon

ChannelMAX can reprice the SKUs with variation. For example, if a T-shirt has 10 different variations in colors and sizes, there will be 10 different SKUs and ASINs associated with it. Hence, ChannelMAX repricer would consider these 10 SKUs as separate items in repricing and would not treat them as one T-shirt.

This is because, SKU associated with each of the variation is unique from other SKUs along with varied ASIN values.

As long as the SKU and it's associated ASINs are unique, ChannelMAX repricer would function normally within the Minimum and Maximum values (aka Cost/Min and Retail/Max) set under 'Unified --> Inventory'.
