What is the Amazon Business Pricing?
Amazon Business Pricing is a new launch on the Amazon to serve the needs of Business Customers. Who is eligible for Business Price?
All existing Sellers on Amazon are eligible to join the Amazon Business (B2B) Seller Program, provided they have the corporate authorizations and licensing capability to sell to Business customers. Business Invoice badge will be enabled only for B2B offers so that Business Customers can choose to buy only those offers where they can get Business Invoice.
What service does ChannelMAX provide for Business Pricing?
At this time, ChannelMAX would derive your Business Price based on your Standard price on Amazon. For example, if your Standard price is $10, then ChannelMAX would recommend that your Business Price also be $10 before Quantity discount would be same. For Quantity Discount, please read the Section-5 (at the bottom).

What is Quantity Discount?
You can also give the discount depending on the quantity (more than 1) of an item bought. It is called "Quantity Discount".
The reason Business Pricing discount is based on more than 1 quantity is that if a buyer buys 1 quantity, then why he should get a discount on the regular price. We believe you will be losing money. However, when a buyer buys more than 1 quantity (bulk quantity), then you can give him a discount.
You can setup Quantity Discount which are tiered discounts available to Amazon Business Customers for higher-volume purchases. In this Amazon Business Seller Program, you can specify tiers for Quantity Pricing.
- The first step is to decide whether the Quantity Discount is a Percentage Off Discount or Amount Off Discount or Fixed Amount.
- Percent Off Business Price --> Business price is calculated by providing Off as per Percentage configured.
- Amount Off Business Price --> Business price is calculated by providing Off as per Amount configured.
- Buy at a Fixed Price --> You can directly input the Business Price at which you want to sell an item.
- The second step is to set up the prices and thresholds for each tiered discounts. You can configure up to 5 tiered discounts for each product.
Quantity discount must set in ascending order. Example
- Quantity = 4, Discount = 3%
- Quantity = 6, Discount = 4%
- Quantity = 8, Discount = 5%
However, following is not valid:
- Quantity = 6, Discount = 3%
- Quantity = 4, Discount = 4%
- Quantity = 8, Discount = 5%
Points to remember
1. The discounted price (Business Price) cannot be below the floor. Example
- Say floor is $10, and current regular Selling price is $11
- Business Price is set to 10% discount on Quantity of 5 and above
- Now 10% of $11 is $1.10 i.e; $9.90, which is less than floor $10
- In this case, Business Price Qty discount will not be fed to Amazon.
2. Your Business Price cannot be higher than your Regular Price but can be equal to the Regular Price.
3. We can feed Business Price only if there is a change in the Standard price. Business Price will work only if "newPrice" tag is present in regular TR. 4. If the discounted price is less than the business floor, but the business floor is less than or equal to business price, then we feed business floor as the discounted price
- Example-1
- BusinessFloor = 34.49
- BusinessPrice = 34.53
- Discounted Price (say 5%) = less that business floor of 34.99
- Then feed discounted price = 34.49
- Example-2
- BusinessFloor = 34.49
- BusinessPrice = 34.49
- Discounted Price (say 5%) = less that business floor of 34.99
- Then feed discounted price = 34.49
